A role has arisen for one of our well established non for profit organisations based in Liverpool for two Finance Managers.
Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager include:
- To manage a team of managers and finance officers and distribute their workload
- To liaise and work closely with other Finance Managers
- Reporting of grants and reviewing of new grants
- Preparation and production of monthly management reports
- Responsible for cashflow, forecasts and expenditure
- To agree grants close, reallocation of costs
- Financial control duties
- Preparation and production of financial reports
- Assisting with the preparation of grant applications
You must be a qualified accountant and have gained experience working within higher education or a similar environment.
It is essential that you have substantial senior management experience and financial awareness with experience of managing and reporting on budgets. You should also have effective leadership skills, knowledge of legislation and codes of practice for grant funded bodies.
