Sellick Partnership are currently working with a North East based housing association to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the new post of Finance Manager (VAT) within the Finance Team.

  • This is a permanent role 0.6 FTE/3 days a week
  • Salary is £45,040 (pro rata) per annum.
  • Hours: 22 Hours per week with flexi time.

The Finance Manager (VAT) is responsible for the timely and accurate completion and submission of the groups and VAT returns. In addition, proactively working with the business the postholder will seek to minimise the groups VAT liability and provide expert VAT advice and training to embed VAT awareness in business processes. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and to collaborate with other team members and the wider business in order to form part of an effective team. Experience of Open Housing and Open Accounts would be beneficial but is not essential.
