Finance Transition Manager

Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Finance Transition Manager to join a highly reputable business on an interim basis. Our established client is currently undergoing an exciting period of development and are looking for a dynamic and inquisitive individual to join their team to assist with a large scale project. This highly attractive opportunity with a leading financial services organisation will work closely with the project management and the financial reporting teams

The main purpose of this role is to ensure controlled transition of financial reporting between two entities.

Key responsibilities:

* Liaise with project teams across entities to oversee migration of operating systems

* Carry out controlled planning of ERP system migration between entities

* Work with a range of stakeholders across the organisation around year-end and regulatory reporting pre and post-migration

* Work with divisions across the business to understand risks around transition and conduct scenario analysis

* Carry out ad-hoc reporting for both the finance reporting and project management teams

The ideal Finance Transition Manager:

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent. It is essential that this individual comes from a financial services background, ideally insurance; and has experience of data migration or transition within a business or between newly acquired businesses. The ideal candidate will have experience of tax or Solvency II reporting, be a hands on individual with excellent stakeholder management skills and have strong attention to detail.
