Financial Controller

Sellick Partnership have an outstanding opportunity for an interim financial controller for a growing multi-site leisure brand, who have seen significant growth in the past 12 months and looking to expand further over the coming years.

As the Financial Controller you will lead a small finance team, drive continuous improvement and work closely with all the site managers to review operations, increase margins and drive bottom line growth. You will be the face of finance and a mentor to an already strong team and have the ability to impact the long term growth strategy of the group.

The Financial Controller will be in post initially for 3 - 6 months with the opportunity to go temp to perm should it be something of interest.

The Role:

  • Business Partnering 6 operations managers across sites
  • Delivering management and sales reporting
  • Driving the month, quarter and year end time table
  • Managing a team of 3
  • Leading continuous improvement projects
  • Delivering and budgets and forecasting on a monthly basis
  • Variance Analysis to drive commercial improvements

The Financial Controller will take full responsibility for all aspects of finance function from reporting, month end delivery, reconciliations and cost analysis. You will relish the chance to add value from a accounting and business partnering perspective.

For this Financial Controller position, you will ideally come from a qualified background ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA ) with significant experience delivering timely and accurate management reporting, month / quarter end results at the same time as driving continuous improvement and ensuring the upskilling of the team around you.
