Our client is a public sector organisation that is looking for an interim general commercial solicitor (or equivalent) to join their in house team.

As a commercial solicitor you will join an existing team of 3 in the in house Legal Services. You will be required to work closely with the Head of Legal and the other lawyers within the team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced in house solicitor who is adept at handling all commercial matters relating to the organisation. These are varied and offer a challenging work environment in which you can deal with a range of commercial matters in any given week, including commercial contracts, providing HR related advice, handling disputes on behalf of the organisation, the formation of external companies, GDPR related advice.

This is a dynamic working environment and our client requires an experienced in house solicitor with a 'can do' approach to their work. This is a full time post and requires someone to be in post within the next 2 weeks.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Kate Jasper in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
