Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working with a public sector organisation in the North West who are searching for a new Governance, Data Protection & Contracts Lawyer to join their team.
The initial placement length will be for 3 months, with the possibility of an extension.
The public sector organisation will pay the successful Governance, Data Protection & Contracts Lawyer £50-55 per hour depending on experience and the candidate will be able to work remotely from home.
As a Governance, Data Protection & Contracts Lawyer your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Contributing to the development of broader operational plans, manage operational plans across legal services as directed, and enable successful implementation by prioritising and aligning planned activities.
- Delivering high quality, timely legal advice, representation and documentation of a specialist or complex nature fulfilling all statutory or regulatory requirements
- Acting as Information Officer & Data Protection Officer working with Senior Managers to ensure on-going compliance with the Data Protection (GDPR) and the Freedom of Information Acts and wider information law.
- Providing support to ensure negotiations, contracts, agreements and legal documents are conducted in compliance with relevant Contract and Procurement law including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 at all times.
