We are currently looking for an interim Governance Lawyer to join a well-regarded legal services team in a London Council. The assigment will run for at least 6 months and will suit someone available on short notice.
The successful interim Governance Lawyer will support on Governance projects across the Council. They will need to provide Constitutional advice as well as:
- Advice on Referendums
- Reviews of codes of conduct
- Reviews of protocols
- Review of whistle blowing process
The ideal candidate will have previous local authority experience of constitution and governance matters. The role is mainly remote working with office attendance required once per week, although this is negotiable.
