Head of Finance

My public sector client is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to drive financial sustainability, risk management, and operational efficiency. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while aligning financial resources with broader organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to support sustainability.
  • Oversee administrative functions, including office management and procurement.
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts and grant agreements.
  • Provide leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification (highly desirable).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a comparable sector.
  • Strong expertise in financial management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
