Sellick Partnership are delighted to be supporting the North East's largest housing association with the recruitment of a Head of Finance, Investment and Asset. This newly created role is significant to the strategic vision and growth of the business.

Working closely with the Director of Finance, the successful individual will lead the organisation's major investment and asset accountant function.

  • Contributing to the financial planning process
  • Responsibility for asset financial reporting including both management accounts and the statutory notes in the annual financial statements
  • Completion of regulatory returns
  • Maintaining the asset security register
  • Preparation of reports to the Board and relevant Committees

As Head of Finance, Investment and Asset, you will be expected to provide insight and challenge to influence investment outcomes and, importantly, will be able to translate the investment programme to meet the needs of key financial stakeholders.

You'll be able to effectively lead a team and be a key specialist within major investment finance. You'll be ambitious and customer focused striving for continuous improvement, whose decision making is data driven.

This role has been categorised as home-based, meaning that you will work from home for much of the working week. Although you'll be a home-based employee, you might need to be physically present for collaborative work.
