Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Head of Management Accountant on a 6 month Fixed Term arrangement, to work for an established NHS organisation, based within Greater Manchester.
Responsible for leading the team on management reporting, providing key advice to stakeholders and to working through budgeting and financial planning, using multiple information sources. You will be leading on the management accounts process, working with multiple stakeholders within a complex environment. This post is responsible for the management and performance of the overall management accounts function, ensuring that key objectives and systems and processes are fit for purpose.
It is essential that you have recent experience of working within the NHS at this level, to ensure a successful transition into this post.
You will be a qualified accountant, with strong post qualified exposure of working within a financial management capacity. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders
You will be highly numerate, and able to work with complex data, from multiple sources, in different formats, to provide concise and meaningful information to aid the decision making.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with continuous improvement in mind, and the ability to motivate oneself, and others, to deliver a high standard of work to agreed timetables, evaluate progress and implement corrective action. Managerial experience is important to this role.
