Head of Management Accounts

Interim Head of Management Accounts required to join an evolving not for profit organisation based in Liverpool. My client is looking for an engaging leader who is an experienced Interim Head of Management Accounts with strong business partnering skills to join their dynamic leadership team for a 12 month period.

As the Interim Head of Management Accounts you will be working with the senior management team to ensure the smooth running of the management accounts team.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Head of Management Accounts

  • Leading on month end responsibilities
  • Meeting with budget holders both finance and non-finance
  • Overseeing two direct reports and a wider team of six
  • Strategic planning
  • Business partnering

Required skills and experience of the Head of Management Accounts

  • CCAB part-qualified or equivalent
  • It is essential that you have recent experience in the not for profit sector
  • Proven track record in a similar position in your last role
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • Excellent management skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
