Head of Pricing Data sought for a permanent position in a leading insurance company based in London. Our client is looking for a Head of Pricing Data that will be taking ownership of data assets and ensuring data is highly accurate and optimised for performance. As the Head of Pricing Data you will also be developing and maintaining best-in-class systems and processes that allow our client find a competitive advantage in pricing.

Responsibilities of the Head of Pricing Data:

  • Take ownership of the core data assets from a pricing perspective
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure pricing is highly accurate and optimised for performance
  • Development of business insight capability and ensuring relevant pricing information
  • Using automation tools to streamline pricing process
  • Seek opportunities to reduce costs in pricing and data analysis processes
  • Manage end to end delivery of pricing projects across multiple products
  • Leading implementation of strategic development with respect to pricing
  • Define and adhere to price change governance processes
  • Ensure pricing processes meet compliance requirements and internal rules
  • Oversee, manage and build capabilities of team members

Skills and experience of the Head of Pricing Data:

  • Hold a technical or numerical degree and / or demonstrable numerical reasoning skills
  • Understand the drivers of commercial success in a Personal Lines insurance business
  • In-depth knowledge in all aspects of pricing systems
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile for project management
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • Experience with insurance administration and data management systems (Radar, Guidewire, SQL, Tableau etc.)
  • Understanding automation tools and scripting Languages (R, Python etc.)
