Health and Safety Manager
Sellick Partnership are working on an exclusive basis with an organisation based in Oxfordshire who are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team ona permanent basis
Salary: £37,000-£42,000
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager include:
- Providing expert advice on all aspects of Health and Safety training for the workforce and board
- Keeping staff and managers abreast of changes in Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice
- Providing advice to the contract administrator to ensure they are compliant with CDM regulations
- Preparing and presenting Health and Safety strategies, reports and procedures
- Preparing, presenting and auditing against corporate risk assessments
- Inspecting sites for Health and Safety problems
- Training staff in relation to Health and Safety
- Investigating all accidents and near misses
The successful candidate will have a membership of a relevant professional body such as IOSH and an extensive track record of professional development within Health and Safety.
Experience of local goverment services is desirable but not essential.
