Inquest Lawyer
Contract - Full-time

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor or Barrister) to join a NHS Trust as an Inquest Lawyer to represent the trust at inquests and hearings. The ideal candidate will have inquest experience and be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision in this busy role.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Inquest Lawyer role will have:

  • Inquest experience
  • A qualified Lawyer (Solicitor or Barrister)
  • A current PC or proof of eligibility to gain one

Key responsibilities
The successful candidate for this Inquest Lawyer role will be required to:

  • Focus on inquests being brought to the trust
  • Represent the trust at inquests and hearings
  • Hit the ground running in the role with minimal supervision
  • Review statements and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and officials

  • 6 month contract with possible extension
  • Central London role
  • £24-30ph
