Legal Executive / Lawyer required to join a local authority which is commutable from Central and North London. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential matters but also have experience in housing litigation matters also.

We are aware that this is unusual for someone to have experience in both areas so we would be very interested to hear from candidates who are seeking part time work in either property or litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas and preferably within a local authority setting;

Conveyancing matters - council sales, leases. licenses, assignments

Litigation matters - possession, rent arrears and county court advocacy

You will be the sole or one of two lawyers at the council so candidates must be able to hit the ground running as you will be managing the work autonomously.

This post would be to start in the New Year so we are keen to hear from candidates ASAP who are looking to secure a new and exciting challenge!

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Leah Edgar in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
