We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Litigation Lawyer, to join on a Central London Borough on a 3 month locum basis, with the view to extend.

The Civil Litigation Lawyer will be joining the welcoming Civil Litigation Team in Legal Services. They will have a specific focus on Employment and Housing Law, with duties such as:

  • Conducting advocacy in the Employment and County Court
  • Conducting other general civil litigation such as homelessness, disrepair and judicial reviews
  • Providing ad hoc advice

The Civil Litigation Lawyer must have a sound understanding and knowledge of Employment law and practice and have experience of managing a caseload of employment law matters. Further, the Civil Litigation Lawyer should demonstrate the ability to conduct other general litigation cases such as homelessness, disrepair and judicial reviews. Experience of conducting advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and County Court is a key requirement for this post.
