There is an exciting opportunity for a Housing Lawyer to work in a north west London borough Council, on a locum basis.

The successful Housing Lawyer will be taking on a varied caseload, including;

  • Homelessness litigation and advisory casework
  • Rent arrears possessions
  • Debt recovery
  • Disputes with third parties on behalf of the Council
  • Housing matters
  • Advocacy at the County Court
  • Approve or amend legal aspects of reports
  • Support with strategic and corporate legal work

Our client is ideally looking for someone who has experience as a Housing Lawyer in local authority, but this is not essential and those with transferable skills from private practice will be strongly considered. The Housing Lawyer will be required to provide training to clients or members of the team and be able to contribute towards the running of the team. The client also offers flexible working patterns, including options to work from home two days per week.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
