An east London Borough are looking for a Housing Lawyer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a Housing Lawyer to join a local authority on a locum contract, 3 months, with the view to extend.

The Housing Lawyer will be conducting advocacy and will have a range of responsibilities relating to housing law, including but not limited to:

  • Rent arrears
  • Possession proceedings
  • Homelessness

The Housing Lawyer will enjoy the benefits of the nearby public transport links, both inside and outside of London; the close proximity of restaurants, cafes and shops; the competitive rate and the friendly team. Also the flexible working arrangements, such as 2-days working from home.

Those with local authority experience are highly desirable, but our client will strongly consider those from other backgrounds, who have a relevant and transferable skillset.
