Our client, a local authority based in Leicestershire, is seeking a Housing Lawyer to join their friendly team. They are offering flexibility with home-working.
The successful Housing Lawyer will take on a varied caseload dealing with most areas of housing litigation, including, but no exclusive to:
- Anti-social behaviour injunction applications
- Conducting general housing and litigation work on behalf of the Local Authority
- Matters include housing disrepair, rent arrears, possession, leasehold matters, homelessness, service charge work
- Drafting notices, witness statements and pleadings
This role will begin on a 3 month basis initially, with the strong possibility of the role continuing beyond that.
Our client will consider applicants who are seeking either full-time or part-time employment.
Candidates from either a private practice background or from a public sector background will be considered.
