Housing Legal Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Housing Legal Officer to join a London based Housing Association.

The successful Housing Legal Officer will need experience and understanding of housing issues, provide support and manage a caseload of housing matters. The role will include dealing with task such as;

  • Bundling
  • Injunction Proceedings
  • Drafting possession and ASB Injunction claims
  • Progressing disrepair claims
  • Liaising with clients and instructing Counsel

This is a fantastic opportunity for paralegal, legal officer, or newly qualified lawyer to get the opportunity to work directly with a Housing Association Legal department on a large number of cases. Our client is ideally looking for a Housing Legal Officer who has worked in a Housing Association, but those with transferable skills from private practice or public sector backgrounds will be strongly considered.

Office attendance is required 2 days per week so this would suit someone who can commute to South London 2 days per week.

This is a locum role and the duration of the role is 3 months initially, with the strong likelihood of extension.
