We are looking for a legal executive, NQ solicitor, or experienced paralegal to join a London Local Authority as a Housing Legal officer.

As a Housing Legal Officer you will be responsible for a varied case load of housing litigation matters including disrepair, breach of tenancy, subletting, tenancy succession and obtaining tenancy by deception. There will also be the opportunity to undertake advocacy including first hearings, directions hearings and covering the weekly possession list.

This is a fantastic opportunity for legal executives, paralegals and NQ solicitors to join a popular local authority. The offices are accessible by close proximity to transport links and walking distance from the nearest train station.

The contract is for a 3 to 6 months, although it is likely that this will be extended. Ideally looking for a start date early in the New Year.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Kemi Awodiji in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
