Sellick Partnership is working with a Staffordshire based organisation who are looking for a Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Responsibilities for this role include;

  • Chasing rent arrears over the phone and face to face
  • Dealing with reports of anti-social behaviour, servicing warnings and notices
  • Collate information to carry out court action
  • Setting up rent payments for new residents and dealing with re-payments of arrears
  • Ensuring buildings are maintained and dealing with repairs enquiries
  • Referring tenants to the correct sources of benefits and welfare advice
  • Assisting in the allocations procedure, helping vulnerable clients into accommodation
  • Acting as first point of contact for emergencies
  • Ensuring new residents understand their tenant obligations, rights and responsibilities
