Housing Options Assistant

My client, a public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced Housing Options Assistant to join their organisation on a temporary basis. Experience working with those facing homelessness is essential, whether that be in a housing options or supported housing setting.
IT equipment will need to be collected from their head office in Derbyshire, but remote working is available throughout the contract
Duties of the Housing Options Assistant include:
- Assisting the Housing Options team
- Greeting those approaching the organisation for assistance with regards to homelessness
- Investigating cases of homelessness
- Gathering evidence on cases of homelessness
- Providing housing advice
- Working towards the prevention of homelessness where possible
- Making referrals to other organisations and services
- Completing administration duties
