Housing Support Worker

Temporary, 2 Months

Our client, based in Hertfordshire are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker on an ongoing temporary basis.

Duties of the Housing Support Worker will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with emergency and temporary accommodation requirements
  • Visiting tenants homes and conducting health and safety inspections across properties
  • Reporting any repairs that may be required
  • Managing and helping to sustain tenancies
  • Assisting with welfare checks
  • Advising tenants of securing income and housing benefit entitlement
  • Agreeing and regularly reviewing support plans
  • Monitoring, recording and reporting void properties within temporary and emergency accommodation
  • Assisting with void inspections where necessary.

Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • UK Drivers' license and access to a vehicle
