Our client, an organisation in Bolton is looking for a Housing Support Worker to aid clients to live independently


Key responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker

  • Assisting clients in identifying and obtaining practical support to facilitate independent living
  • Adapting and following independent living plans for each client
  • Advising on welfare benefits and related entitlements
  • Monitoring and reviewing caseload
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of clients
  • Re-engaging service users who disengage from provision
  • Aiding with independent living skills by empowering clients to address the root cause of homelessness

Required skills and experience of the Housing Support Worker

  • Knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable or socially excluded people
  • Up to date knowledge of welfare benefits and related entitlements
  • Valid driving licence and access to own transport
