Our client, a social housing organisation in Shropshire is looking for an experienced Support Worker to support their service users.
Responsibilities for the Support Worker role include;
*Working with a variety of service users including the elderly, those suffering with mental health and alcohol and drug dependency
*Creating and updating support plans and risk assessments for service users
*Assisting the service users to live as independently as possible
*Helping clients with budgeting and ensuring that they have the correct benefits in place
*Working closely with third party agencies including; Social Services, Police, GP's Probation Services
*Supporting service users to access services in the community
The suitable candidate must have experience working with a variety of service users and hold a current Enhanced DBS.
