Housing Support worker

Durham

Full time, Temporary

Our client is looking for a support worker to provide support to vulnerable clients in a supported housing setting

Duties of the Support worker role will include, but are not limited to:

  • To provide selected support according to individual needs within parameters of support as negotiated through their Support Plans (plans are drawn up with Complex Needs Worker)
  • To maintain a supportive environment at all times
  • To use the Inform database as appropriate
  • To work within Policies and Procedures, including ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • To be prepared to undertake training and development as identified and agreed in consultation with your Line Manager and relevant to the position, including attending supervision/ appraisal

The successful support worker will have:

  • Previous experience of dealing with vulnerable adults
  • Great communication and listening skills
  • An enhanced DBS
