HR Business Partner

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working once again with one of the North East's largest housing associations to recruit a HR Business Partner. This opportunity would be perfect for an Advisor looking to take their first step into partnering.

The HR Business Partner will provide flexible, generalist HR partnering with the business to deliver a best in class HR service to the Group. The role will support the Senior HRBP to deliver the HR elements of the organisation's strategy and objectives ensuring alignment with their culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of and is accountable with the business leaders for development of local plans, development and delivery of the People Strategy for business area, ensuring cost-effective solutions and bringing strategic value to business performance

  • Develop an effective partnership with the Trade Unions and coach Managers with disciplinary, grievance and sickness reviews, where necessary, with the goal of managers managing the process with minimum HR support

  • Participate in the development of and ensures compliance with a market competitive compensation & benefits strategy to drive business performance.

  • Responsible for the delivery of excellent HR administration utilising the right level of resource within the team

  • Deliver Talent Management, succession and retention strategies for area of responsibility

  • Advise and participate in recruitment for business areas where necessary, ensuring the resourcing plan is executed to attract, select and place the best, diverse talent (internal and external) and is cost effective.

The successful candidate will have the ability to proactively solve problems and seek solutions to complex ER issues in addition to having excellent HR Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data in a range of formats. They should have knowledge and understanding of terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures, employment legislation and its practical application.
