Income Management Officer
Temporary, 6 Months
Full Time (37 Hours)
£26,040.55 pro rata
Nottingham

Our client based in Nottingham is looking for an experienced Income Management Officer who will maximise income and eradicate debts owed to the association by tenants and leaseholders, while ensuring those who are vulnerable are protected. You will provide effective and efficient casework on tenancies across the portfolio or as directed and undertake regular, thorough ongoing account monitoring.

Key Responsibilities of the Income Management Officer include:

  • Minimise debt and maximise income collection by prioritising tasks accordingly
  • Enforce and initiate legal action by serving notices, preparing court paper and attending court as a representative
  • Attend evictions for rent possession/tenancy breach and ASB cases
  • Proactively negotiate/re-negotiate payment plans with tenants/leaseholders in arrears
  • Assist with obtaining appropriate welfare benefits and provide advice and guidance

Essential criteria of the Income Management Officer include:

  • Previous experience as an Income Management Officer or in a similar role
  • Current knowledge and experience of social housing, welfare and legal issues
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle for business use
