Housing Income Officer

35 hours per week


We are recruiting for a social housing provider in Staffordshire who is looking for an experienced income officer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis

Duties of the Income Officer will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing customer accounts to maximise rent and income collection
  • Ensuring all customers are aware of their rent payment obligations
  • Competing income and expenditure reviews to ensure customers are able to sustain their tenancy
  • Assisting customers with benefit entitlement calculations
  • Advise customers on support providers and money service advice
  • Monitor all rent arrears cases
  • Serving legal notices, preparing and presenting cases in court
  • Carrying out and attending evictions

Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:

  • DBS
  • UK Drivers' license and access to a vehicle
