Income Officer

Role: Income Officer

Location: Northamptonshire - hybrid working

Duration: 6 months

Pay: £10-13 per hour

Sellick Partnership are currently looking to appoint an Income Officer for our public sector client within Northamptonshire

Job purpose:

Your key priority is to action the efficient, accurate and timely processing of large volumes of income received in various forms, to the correct customer account. Reporting to the Income Team Manager, you will be customer focused and have the ability to meet / exceed your performance objectives and achieve targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cheque and direct debit processing
  • Bank statement / internet payments
  • Minimizing unallocated / unapplied / suspense payments
  • Resolving payment queries
  • Processing customer refunds

Person specification for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • A background in income processing with experience of customer service in an Accounts Receivable environment is useful.
  • Proactive, confident and customer focused, you will need to communicate effectively and adopt a partnership approach to service delivery, liaising with; service directorates, internal teams and external organisations.
