We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an Information Governance Lawyer to join a busy Local Authority in Surrey. Our client is offering considerable flexibility with working hours, and candidates will have the opportunity to work entirely remotely.

The successful candidate for the Information Governance Lawyer role will have knowledge and experience of:

  • Advising on all aspects of Information Law
  • Dealing with all matters in relation to DP/FOI
  • Advising on internal review and data protection complaints
  • Supporting the team with general information law matters and queries

This role is a flexible part-time position, and will be for a period of 3 months initially with the possibility of extension.

Our client is seeking candidates who have experience with Information Governance within a public sector environment, as they need someone to go in and 'hit the ground running' in order to help with the backlog of work.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Laura Hayward in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
