Information Governance Lawyer required to join a local authority based in the South East for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Information Governance Lawyer to join a friendly local authority.
The successful Information Governance Lawyer will be predominantly managing GDPR matters, therefore previous experience within this field is essential.
Alongside this, the role may also involve assisting the Local Authority with the following issues;
- Data Protection
- Advise on disclosure of information
- Subject access requests from police/County Council's other agencies
- Dealing with complaints from the ombudsman and with the Information Commissioner
Any previous experience of working within a local authority would be highly desirable for this role, although not at all essential. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling information requests in a professional manner.
