Sellick Partnership are currently seeking an Information Governance Officer or Lawyer on behalf of a Local Authority based in Berkshire.

Candidates do not necessarily need to be qualified lawyers, but it is essential that applicants have a good understanding of Information Governance, GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as the main duties of this role will include:

  • Investigating, logging, and reporting data breaches
  • Providing advice in relation to FOI, EIR, Subject Access Requests
  • Handling ICO Complaints
  • Advising and drafting Information Sharing Agreements and Data Protection Impact Assessments

This is a full-time role and is to begin immediately for an initial 3 month period, although the role may continue beyond that. There will also be 2 days of homeworking available each week.
