An Information Governance Officer is required by a well-regarded, South London Borough Council to join their team on an initially locum contract, 3 months, with the strong possibility of extension.

The Information Governance Officer will be supporting the information protection team on a variety of matters, such as:

  • Subject access requests
  • Redactions
  • GDPR matters
  • Freedom of information matters
  • Enabling compliance with the legislation governing access to information

For this Information Governance Officer position, previous experience of working with subject access requests and redactions is required as well as having sound understanding of the application of GDPR legislation.
