Information Governance Officer is required to join a local authority on an initial 3 month contract with the view of extension thereafter depending on permanent recruitment. Sellick Partnership is currently working with this local authority on an exclusive basis and this is a great opportunity not to be missed.
Our client is looking for someone to join the governance team on a complete remote working basis for an intital 12 week period. You will report directly into the Governance Services Manager and you will be able to come in and pick up existing matters and new matters of freedom of information requests and Environmental Information Regulations in line with the statutory requirements and comply with the council's framework also.
The Governance Services Manager has recently been appointed into their role and is now seeking someone to back fill their previous role. Ideally, the successful candidate will have done a similar role with another local authority but the client is happy to consider applicants for various backgrounds but must have previous experience in information governance.
