Principal duties and responsibilities for the Assistant Management Accountant

  • Assisting with month end
  • Posting journals
  • Reconciliations
  • Maintaining and updating the financial system
  • Reviewing financial performance and ensuring that the budgets are accurate
  • Providing financial advice
  • Calculating and inputting adjustments to record expenditure within agreed principles and criteria
  • Recording income and expenditure

Essential experience for the Assistant Management Accountant:

  • NHS experience
