Locum Company Secretary

South East England

Locum Company Secretary is required to join a public sector organisaton based in the South East of England for a start date as soon as possible.

Our client is a local government client who is seeking someone with previous experience of acting as a company secretary and ideally someone with an ICSA qualification but this is not a necessity for the role.

You will be overseeing the local authority wholly owned companies which will be around 5-6 and be responsible for the day to day management and company secretarial duties which include but not limited to;

- Liasing with Companies House

- Understanding of shareholding responsibilities

- Filing requirements/ Taking minutes at meetings

- Reporting to the Principal Lawyer

Candidates must possess previous experience of acting as a Company Secretary due to needing to fulfill a role of a permanent member of staff who is moving on. Our client is seeking someone with excellent client care and relationship skills. This is a great chance to join an organisation who is currently expanding and has an excellent team environment.
