Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a financial accountant to help assist on year-end accounts within a dynamic NHS organisation in the East Midlands.

My client are looking for a professional, results driven candidate who is an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team and help them to deliver the year end in an evolving NHS organisation for a six month interim assignment.

Key responsibilities for the financial accountant:

  • To work with the financial controller and the wider team on the closure of the year end accounts
  • Assist with the production of the financial statements within the organisations annual report and accounts
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Responsible for ensuring the audit requirements are met
  • Adhoc support to the financial controller

Required skills and experience of the financial accountant:

  • Experience of financial accounts and year end
  • NHS is ideal but not essential
