Interim Monitoring Officer

Sellick Partnership is currently seeking an Interim Monitoring Officer to join a friendly, well- respected Local Authority in Wales. This position is for a 4 month period on a full-time basis.

As an Interim Monitoring Officer, our client requires the successful candidate to undertake the following duties;

  • Supporting the implementation of the new Local Government Act
  • Providing advice and support to the Chief Executive
  • Supporting the implementation of a new Code of Conduct
  • Providing advice to members
  • Ad-hoc

The client is keen to hear from individuals who have worked in a local government environment due to the level and nature of the position or those who have undertaken this work in another capacity e.g. private practice for local government clients. The role can be worked remotely, however attendance in the office may be required initially to collect equipment.
