Fitness to Practice Lawyer
Qualified Lawyer required to join an established and fast paced regulatory organisation based in London. My client is looking for an experienced Fitness to Practice lawyer who can join the team on the agreed date.
As an investigations lawyer for this regulatory organisation you will be expected to proof read initial draft paperwork and progress the cases whilst also dealing with potential clinical complaints.
Key responsibilities of the Regulatory Lawyer
- Reviewing draft paperwork ensuring accuracy in complex investigations and progressing the cases to a registrar where possible.
- Recording and actioning clinical complaints brought against healthcare professionals.
Required skills and experience of the Regulatory Lawyer
- Investigations experience in a public sector setting.
- Experience in reviewing documents and preparing cases to be progressed.
- Experience in handling clinical complaints from the public and other professionals.
