Role: Procurement IT Specialist

Location: West Midlands - Fully remote with occasional visits

Rate: Up to £450 a day

Duration: 3-6 months

Sellick Partnership are currently looking to appoint a IT Procurement Specialist for our Client in Northamptonshire.

The specific requirements for the Procurement Officer:

  • To provide professional, legal and compliant advice ad support around robust procurement processes for Property and ICT procurement
  • Support the Client in the creation of the business case and implementation of procurements and related strategy for public regulation procurements
  • Leading ICT and Property procurements ensuring compliance delivering on time and within budget, using recognised and approved methodology
  • Drive effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable delivery of quality services
  • Develop tender documents, including terms and conditions, ensure that contracts are tendered, agreed, managed, delivered and renewed in accordance with local government and policies and processes, relevant procurement directives and procedures for governance
  • Provide advice to clients on the process of procuring goods and service within the respective category ensuring their agreement to the approach being taken meeting their requirements.

Person specification for the Procurement Officer:

  • Public Sector experience
  • CIPS qualified is desirable
