Role: IT Senior Project Manager
Location: Stafford, Hybrid working
Daily rate: £45k to £50k
Sellick partnership are currently looking for an IT Senior Project Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Stafford.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver complex programmes and projects that span across multiple business units as well as I.T. You will be expected to manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle.
The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
You will work directly with the Head of Change and Transformation to ensure that the project management team is functioning at the optimal level and suggest any improvements required.
Key responsibilities for the IT Senior Project Manager:
- Manage a portfolio of complex projects
- Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members
- Full project life cycle ownership
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects
