Exciting opportunity a Judicial Review Lawyer to join a friendly London Borough Council to work on a specialist project on a locum basis. This is expected to be a long-term appointment.

My client needs a Lawyer with solid experience of handling judicial review work, ideally in the Public Sector.

The successful Lawyer will be handling a large caseload of age-assessment challenges. These cases have mainly been brought forward by one firm so you will be forming important on-going working relationships in this role.

While age-assessment experience is preferred, it is not essential as long as you have strong judicial review skills. This may be from an immigration background for instance.

Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, you must be available immediately or on short notice (1-3 weeks).

In return, the successful Lawyer will enjoy:

  • Handling a unique project
  • Remote working
  • Competitive hourly rate of up to £35 per hour
  • Friendly, social team
  • Modern IT systems

Positions do not arise often in this team so don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to join them! The council cultivates a supportive, encouraging environment and is very proud of its forward-thinking wellbeing initiatives. Therefore, a hard-working and personable Lawyer will fit in very well here.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chloë Cameron in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
