We are looking for a Junior Adults Lawyer to join a friendly and dynamic London Borough Council.
A London Borough Council are looking to recruit a locum Junior Adults Lawyer to join their team on an on-going basis. This role is entirely remote working, paying £30 - £35 per hour (umbrella company rate).
This is a lovely opportunity for a newly-qualified or junior lawyer with experience in Adult Social Care Law to be trained-up and supported with a welcoming team in a busy London Council.
The Junior Adults Lawyer will handle Adult Social Care matters including Court of Protection, Mental Health and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. As Junior Lawyer you would manage your own caseload, draft letters and applications, as well as advising the client department.
This role is a great chance to further your career and build on experience. The council are open to candidates from all backgrounds, including private practice, and will provide the necessary training and support.
It's a rare opportunity for a junior candidate to embark on their career within local government even if they haven't had prior experience in the public sector.
An additional bonus is that as this role can be fully remote, the Junior Lawyer can be based anywhere in the UK.
