An unmissable opportunity for a Junior or Newly Qualified Childcare Lawyer to join a popular and well-regarded London local authority on a locum basis.
If you're a Junior or Newly Qualified legal professional with experience in childcare law then Sellick Partnership want to hear from you. We're working with a fantastic council to help them find a Junior/Newly Qualified Childcare Lawyer to join the team on a locum contract.
This is a locum position of an initial 3 months, with the view to extend onto a rolling basis. The team tend to keep locums on long-term as they look to progress you within your career. The role is a hybrid between home working and office-working, with the chance to work from home 4 days, whilst working in the office for one day per week.
The Junior Childcare Lawyer will hold a caseload of child protection matters, including:
- Care cases
- Attending Legal Planning Meetings
- Liaising with counsel and other legal parties
- Working with and advising social workers
Some prior relevant experience in child protection is desirable for this role, but any legal background is welcome, i.e. private practice or public sector.
