Junior Childcare Lawyer with a London Borough Council.

I'm recruiting to a vacancy for a Junior Childcare Lawyer with a popular London Local Authority. This is a locum role, initially 3-months, with the view to extend onto an ongoing basis. The Junior Childcare Lawyer will work remotely.

The council are looking for a candidate either due to complete their training (such as training contract or CILEx) or newly-qualified who is keen to secure a Childcare Lawyer role within local government. Support and training will be provided to the Junior Childcare Lawyer.

Duties will include:

  • Handling matters relating to child protection
  • Running care cases and PLOs
  • Instructing counsel and attending hearings
  • Attending LPMs
  • Advising the client department

Prior experience in public childcare law is a must. The Junior Childcare Lawyer should have ran their own cases and be able to work independently. Local government experience is not required for this position.

This is a great opportunity to get into the highest in-demand area of law in local government! As a Childcare Lawyer you would always have work opportunities and be paid a competitive rate.

The Junior Childcare Lawyer will join a great team, provided with all the required support and paid a competitive rate. This is a role that will set your career off to a great start!
