Junior Contracts Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period, with the possibility of extension thereafter.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Contracts Lawyer to join a popular council, and gain exposure to the full spectrum of local authority contracts. In return, this council is offering a generous rate of pay in comparison to other junior level roles in London.

As a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will be dealing with a varied caseload which will include drafting and negotiating contracts, procurement matters, advising on data protection/FOI, and possibly some TUPE matters.

The ideal Junior Contracts Lawyer will have experience of working in a similar role within the public sector, however this is not essential providing that a good understanding of public sector contracts is held.

This local authority is easily commutable from throughout London, as it is situated within walking distance from the nearest station.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
