Junior Prosecutions Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3-6 months.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, newly-qualified prosecutions lawyer to join a large local authority and undertake interested public sector work.
The successful candidate will take on a busy caseload of approximately 40 files. You will be working on these cases as well as conducting advocacy. Prosecutions matters will include but not be limited to;
- Fly tipping
- Blue badge fraud
- Non-school attendance
Any previous experience of working within a local authority would be highly desirable for this role, although not at all essential as long as a good knowledge of public law is held.
The office is easy to reach, situated in a location which is easily accessible by London Underground or Overground.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
