Lead Data Protection officer is required to join a public sector organisation based in Buckinghamshire on an interim contract for a period of 3 months initially. There is strong chance for extension and long term prospects also.
You will be accountable for ensuring that personal data is used in accordance with the relevant legislations and will be leading and agreeing programmes of work with the SIRO and Senior Managers to manage the delivery of such projects to improve data controls and address risks. You will also oversee the delivery of subject to access requests and ensure any data breaches are appropriately addressed.
This is a very hands on role and the client is ideally seeking someone from a legal background who has hands on experience of the current GDPR/ Data protection and freedom of information rules.
This role is offering the candidate to lead on data protection within a large organisation that has some exciting prospects being brought through to them next year.
